Holy Martyrs Terence, His Wife Neonilla and Their Seven Children,
Troparion, Tone IV —
In their sufferings, O Lord,/ Thy martyrs received imperishable crowns from
Thee our God;/ for, possessed of Thy might,/ they set at nought the tormentors
and crushed the feeble audacity of the demons.// By their supplications save
Thou our souls.

O instructor of Orthodoxy, teacher of piety and purity,/ beacon for the whole
world, divinely inspired adornment of hierarchs./ O most wise Stephen by
thy doctrines thou hast illumined all.// O harp of the Spirit, entreat Christ
God that our souls be saved.

Thou didst plant a garden of the virtues/ and water it with the torrents of
thy tears, O most glorious one./ And having received the tree of life, 0
Stephen,/ save thy flock from corruption by thy supplications/ and deliver from
evil circumstances those who fervently honor thee;/ for through faith and love,
O wise one,// we have acquired thee as an intercessor most great.

Today the honored memorial of the martyrs, Terence the all-wise and his
company,/ hath arrived, bringing gladness to all;// wherefore, let us receive
healing,/ for they have received from the Holy Spirit,// the grace to heal the
infirmities and pain of our souls.
Troparion of Great-martyr Parasceva, Troparion, Tone IV —
O all-wise and most lauded Parasceva, martyr of Christ, having received manly
might and set aside thy womanly weakness, thou didst vanquish the devil and put
the tyrant to shame, crying out and saying: "Come ye, cut my body asunder with
your swords and burn me with fire; for, rejoicing, I shall go to Christ my
Bridegroom!" Through her supplications, O Christ God, save our souls.
Kontakion, Tone III, "Today the Virgin..." —
Bearing thine all-holy and undefiled torment to Christ, the immortal
Bridegroom, as a dowry, thou didst gladden the choir of the angels and didst
overcome the wiles of the demons. Wherefore, we cherish thee with honor and
faith, O much suffering martyr Parasceva.
Troparion of St. Job of Pochaev, Tone IV —
Acquiring the patient endurance of the long-suffering forefather, emulating
the abstinence of the Baptist, and sharing in the divine zeal of both, thou
wast vouchsafed worthily to receive their names, and wast a fearless preacher of
the true faith. Wherefore, thou didst lead a multitude of monks to Christ, and
didst confirm all the people in Orthodoxy. O Job our venerable father, pray that
our souls be saved.
Kontakion, in Tone IV, "Thou hast appeared to the whole world today..." —
Thou wast shown to be a pillar of the true faith, a zealot of the
commandments of the Gospel, the reproof of pride, and an intercessor and
instructor for the lowly. Wherefore, beg thou forgiveness of sins for them that
bless thee, and keep thy monastery unharmed, O Job our father, who art like unto
the longsuffering one of old.

– vigil for great feasts; a more festive service where all of the unfixed hymns are dedicated to the feast.
– "vigil" to a certain saint when All Night vigil is celebrated. The order of the service is similar to a “Polyeleos” (magnification) service, in that small vespers, great vespers and matins are combined (from this comes the vigil) and that there is the blessing of breads and the anointing with oil at the end of matins.
– "cross", "Polyeleos", "with the Polyeleos", "Polyeleos service", that is the type of service during which the "Polyeleos" (Praise/Magnification) is sung during matins (the majestic singing of the 134 and 135 psalms with verses); in addition, during this service there is a reading from the Gospel, the prokeimenon, gradual antiphons, the canon with 8 troparions, the praises and Great Doxology are sung, and during vespers "Blessed is the man" is sung (first "Glory" of the 1st kathisma), there is an entrance, Old Testament readings (parameia) and during lityia all of the verses may be sung to the saint.
– "doxology", "with doxology" during this service to the saint it is proper to sing the Great Doxology at the end of matins (in services of a lower rank, the doxology is read), also at this service are sung several Sunday Theotokions, sedalions after the kathisma (psaltery reading) to the saint, the katavasia during the canon, also at the end of matins are sung the praise verses, the Great Doxology, and the entire ending of matins follows the order of a feast.
– "six verse", "up to six"; all six stikhera of "Lord, I cry" are sung to the saint, there is a stikhera for "Glory" of the Apotischa for both vespers and matins; troparion to the saint, and the canon of matins is sung to the saint in six troparions.
